It is time to put these words “Grateful Heart” on and be able to better focus on the good despite all the uncertainty’s in life. Gratitude helps you fall in love with the life you already have. We often want to change the circumstances around us and think when this or that changes– we can be grateful. What if we decide to become grateful now and then the life we live today will become better than okay! It become one that we love…even though there are things we aren’t always glad that are happening. When we focus on the negativity—it grows. Psychologist call this a negative bias. The reason for this is that negative events have a greater impact on our brains than positive ones. It can have a powerful effect on our behaviors, our decisions and our relationships with others and especially with ourselves.
It is time to “put on” a grateful heart. You can do these simple suggestions that will change how you see things when you become consistent with them. The word effect works when we work it! With each suggestion—just be consistent!
Try doing a gratitude journal. Every night for the next month—write down 10 things you are grateful for.
Always do equal air time…for every 30 minutes of negative—be sure to spend time putting positive in your life.
Put the power of words to work by saying things you are grateful for in the mirror, read positive quotes out loud and better yet connect with a friend and tell them how you are grateful for them.
